Heat & desert care
Why does my RV A/C keep failing in Las Vegas?
Constant heat, dust and an aging capacitor or fan motor are the usual causes. Clean filters monthly in summer and have the unit checked in spring.
How often should I reseal my RV roof in the desert?
Inspect at least once a year and reseal based on condition. UV breaks sealant down faster here.
How hot is too hot to run my RV A/C?
Follow your manufacturer's guidance. In extreme heat a unit may struggle to cool the rig, so shade, window covers and clean filters matter.
